One And Make Poverty History

If you have visited this blog in the last month, you can see that I made a couple temporary template changes. One in the top right corner, and one in my sidebar, if you scroll down a bit. These are links to a campaign that is working toward, well, making poverty history. It also involves a number of other social issues you can look at on the sites. Make Poverty History is the UK organisation, and The One Campaign is the USA organisation. Choose accordingly, but please visit these sites, at least just to be educated on the issues going on right now.

OK, I'm sorry; how like me to look only at the superficial.

I'm glad you're taking concern in such a serious issue, I've been able to explore the sites a little bit will take a closer look later.

Thanks, and I think you'll find some interesting things out about these issues when you look closer.

1)Penny lane, you need to know or have a fair understanding of HTML or XHTML.Tutorials, for the both of which cane be easily found if you search on google.
2)Joel, excellent new blog, and great link, the poverty one.Only, unfortunately I'm neither in the US nor in UK to do much about it, and my country isn't a G8 one anyway.
3)Extremely sorry for the excessive time lag between our discussions.
4)There should always be a point number 4, but i forgot what it was.
5)eriol, which strings are you talking about(just out of curiousity)?Guitar?Violin?...
6)God Bless.

Hey Sumedh, thanks for commenting. I generally get email notifications when someone posts a comment, but for some reason I didn't see yours. Also, I've been on a week long trip to Portland, Oregon. Very enjoyable. Which is why eriol was asking about strings, as we both play guitar, and I was visiting him and and his family.
Also, don't feel obligated, but I found this while browsing the site:

I'm actually really new to this campaign and don't know a whole lot about it, but I'm trying to get more info on it.

soooooo......did you unpack your bag? Just wondering.
By the way we were at gate C9 right beside your gate C7. Lukolas put his shoe on top of the shaving cream in a bag and released shaving cream into the whole bag. Queen and I went to clean it all out, and when we got back we checked at the counter and you had already boarded. We almost got to see you at the airport!

I'll check it oot!( Yes I know I spelled it wrong, but when you leave out 'u's, it sounds like I'm Irish or something)

I was able to explore the site a little bit, and I'm very glad you pointed it out because when I heard about the summit on the news I knew what they were talking about. Otherwise I wouldn't have recognized the importance of it. I know this is a very important cause, but I still don't understand how signing a petition will make much difference.

Oh dear, he has passed the point of no return, the, the, NO POSTING ZONE!
Honestly, it's nice in the no post zone, I've been there for a long time!

Have you heard? Our leaders cancelled about $40 million in debt owed us by poverty-stricken countries. I think this is a step in the right direction.
