About Me
- Name: Eucharisto
- Location: In The Midst of the Huddled Masses
I am one who dreams deeply, even when I don't understand. I seek hard after the truth, even though I am stumbling more than I am making progress. I live with the hope that somewhere, dreams and truth intertwine, and make sense of this life. I live mostly in darkness, but every once in a while, catch a ray of light that shines on this far country, straight from home, where I am headed. That is why I am who I am, He is who He is, and you are who you are, and all of us are walking together towards the light.

Art is the ability to convey that we are not alone. When I sit down next to you in a movie theater, we get to share each other's point of view. We become part of a collective soul.
Too late
I know it's not too late
To wrestle with this angel
Higher and higher
Don't let go
Higher and higher
Before we know
How does it end
How does it end
We're all riding on the last train
Trying to find our way home again
I believe in Christianity as I believe that the Sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.
Oh the glory that the lord has made
And the complications when I see his face
In the morning in the window
Oh the glory when he took our place
But he took my shoulders and he shook my face
And he takes and he takes and he takes
Love a man, even in his sin, for that love is a likeness of the divine love, and is the summit of love on earth.

That's very cool.
I really admire you for what you're doing, you know.
That is a sweet picture.
Wow. As soon as I get back from the east coast I'm heading out west. I'll come for the beautiful scenery but also to see you my much-missed friend! Thinking of you tonite from PEI, and liking the thought of you exploring Seattle. Any favorite coffee shops yet?
Good pic! Its an awesome city. I have a picture I took recently from the top of Queen Anne on my wallpaper.
Hey guys, thanks for the good words.
To Knight: Thanks! I really appreciate the support. It's a weird transition, but a good one.
To Why: Thanks!
To Sarah: Hey, thanks so much! I've been thinking of you too, and hoping that the trip is going wonderfully. Hmm, coffee shops...There's one on top of queen anne hill (behind SPU) called Ladros, that's really good. I'll have to take you there when you visit!
To Katie: Thanks! Yeah, I think I know the spot you speak of. Kind of on an off street, with a little lookout?
To Penny Lane: Hey there! So glad to see your comment here. I'm totally with that sentiment about everything being a bit more challenging. Totally true. But it's fun to figure everything out. Hope MTSU works out great for you!
I heard you were at a Sufjan Stevens concert the other night. I tried to get to his show in Portland, but it was sold out :(.'.' (watch how my tears fall!) How did you like it, and how did you like the supporting act?
I noticed that you've reading Seamus Heany's translation of Beowulf. I just read for English, now I'm reading Chaucer.
Check out the Mother Ship (which is Mere Image), as I've been playing with embedded video.
Yeah, Sufjan was awesome, and it was super challenging to get tickets (we took the scalper route, and ended up lucky with one of our tickets for free). First of all, I loved the supporting act, very talented, very unique. The lead singer had an amazing voice, and the whole band was wonderfully in sync with each other. I would have bought a CD, but had already bought michigan, and I am but a poor college student.
Sufjan was like nothing else I've ever seen. It's hard to describe in a short few sentences. You kind of have to experience it yourself. Ask me about it the next time you see me.
You're reading Chaucer? We just finished The Miller's Tale and The Wife of Bath. Excellently written. We're delving into english sonnets for the next two weeks. Rather interesting, if a bit tedious.
I saw MereImage, looks awesome. I'd look, but my roommate's asleep (it's really late righ now). Anyway, thanks for the comment, much appreciated!
